Drinking Lemon water for Weight loss

“If I drink lemon water will it result in weight loss or a flatter stomach?”

With nine years in the fitness industry I have come across this question more than I can fathom, too many times to be exact.

Let’s solve this weight loss mystery once and for all.



Lemons are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants. Drinking lemon infused water will eliminate toxins from your body by activating your bodies natural detox process which will increase your metabolism and your bodies ability to breakdown fat.

Drinking warm lemon water is great for sluggish digestive systems and with ease bloating and indigestion too.

Lemons also contain pectin which acts as a natural appetite suppressant.

If you tend to overindulge or struggle to curb unhealthy cravings then I recommend drinking a glass of warm lemon infused water before each meal.

Remember in order to lose weight you still need to follow a healthy diet and exercise at least 4-5 x week for 30-45 minutes!
