Q: What is HIIT training? Is it better than normal cardio?
A: HIIT training is high intensity interval training. It burns fat faster in less time. You would start an exercise say running for a total of 25-30minutes. First 3minutes you would walk at an intensity of 4-5/10 very light then run for 30-60seconds for a very high intensity of 8-9/10 then back to 3minutes of light 4-5/10 effort. You would repeat this cycle for the duration of the 25-30minutes. It’s very intense so I don’t recommend it for beginners.
